"I first started listening to blues music from old Lightnin' Hopkins records that my dad acquired from his time in the army working with American soldiers in Germany. From a very early age the music had me captivated and as anybody hooked by the blues will tell you - there's no going back!"

His musical influences span all generations and styles of Blues, from Leadbelly, Robert Johnson, Blind Blake and Big Bill Broonzy - right through to Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Hendrix and Eric Clapton and all these influences can be readily heard in his playing.

He has also taught the guitar to aspiring blues players - some of whom are now in successful bands themselves.
